With the return of the living hostages it is more important than ever that we not forget the remaining souls — that the deceased who still lie in Gaza should be returned for a proper burial. Please continue this Shabbat initiative, encourage others to join in the merit that the deceased be returned home to Israel. The families have shared how meaningful your prayers, actions, and commitment have meant to them.
Whether you’re religious or non-religious or somewhere in between, we are asking Jews everywhere to unite and bring the hostages into our homes on Shabbat by dedicating one Shabbat practice for their release. By uniting in the power of Shabbat let us try to stir the heavens to help bring them home.
